Barnabas Group

 

The Small Church Action Group is now going by the name of Barnabas. In the New Testament, Barnabas consistently encourages others. In that same spirit, a group of the pastors of our small churches have come together to encourage each other in our ministries. So now, we call ourselves Barnabas.

 

Our goal is to not only serve as a source of strength for each other but also to discover ways our churches can come together in ministry to impact Henderson for Jesus.

 

Individually, we may be small in number but that doesn’t mean we should not or do not matter in our community. Collectively over 600 people attend our churches on any given Sunday morning. Over a year’s time, we collect well over one million dollars in tithes and offerings with thousands of dollars going to missions. We do matter and we firmly believe that with God’s guidance and blessing, He can and will use us to make a greater difference in this area for Christ.

 

One of the first things we have done is to organize our pastors into Prayer Partners. We ask you to pray for us daily as we seek the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
